The trading accounts provided by FundedEdge, legal name Funds4Traders, LLC operate within a simulated environment, utilizing virtual funds. This applies to all account types, including Free Trial, Challenge, and Funded Trader accounts. Despite the simulated nature, we strive to replicate the workings of real financial markets to provide an authentic trading experience. We aim for you to be well-prepared and knowledgeable about the realities of trading from the start. This way, when you achieve your goal of becoming a Funded Trader, you’ll be equipped to manage risk effectively and grow steadily.

What does this mean for you? It means that we use real-time Prime Liquidity Feeds to execute your orders. The market depth, liquidity, and volatility at any given time might result in slippage, wider spreads, or potential delays in execution. Slippage can occur in both positive and negative directions, without bias. However, we do not apply any hidden markups or additional slippage.

All FundedEdge accounts, including Funded Trader Accounts, operate with virtual funds in a simulated environment designed to replicate real market conditions. While traders have the opportunity to earn real profits, these accounts are not funded with real money.

Unlike standard demo accounts, which offer an idealized trading experience with instant trade execution, our simulated environment mirrors the realities of the market. We utilize real Prime Liquidity Providers’ price feeds and depth of market data to simulate market liquidity. This ensures that trades are executed considering real-world factors such as speed, slippage, and spreads.

We are currently offering two trading platforms, our broker’s Platform 5 and Trader Evolution. You can choose your preferred one or open accounts for both platforms and see which one fits your trading style best.

If your account breaches any of the following rules, you can reactivate it for a smaller fee than the initial challenge cost:

  • Maximum Daily Drawdown
  • Maximum Total Drawdown
  • Inactivity
  • News Trading Violations
  • Scalping
  • Gambling
  • Illegal EA Usage

Re-activation is available only during challenge phases, with discounts varying by account type.

Re-activation feature will be available for anyone that has it in their perks as an option. It can be used through the dashboard.

  • With FundedEdge LLC, you can have as many active Challenge accounts as you want. When it comes to Funded Trader Accounts, we do not restrict the number of active accounts, either. We do have a limit on the aggregate capital across all your accounts. The former must not exceed $600,000.

We currently support the following payment methods:

  • Credit/Debit Card
  • Bank Wire
  • Crypto payment in USDT, USDC and BTC

The Challenge

You will not be able to change the trading platform during the challenge or Funded. If you become a funded trader, you will be trading on the same platform you have chosen when purchasing your Challenge Account. If you want to change that, you will need to take a new Challenge and complete it.

The challenge phase evaluates your ability to manage risk and generate profits. Key rules include:

  • Do not exceed the Maximum Daily Drawdown limit (percentage visible in the dashboard).
  • Meet the minimum trading days requirement.
  • Achieve the profit target based on your initial balance.
  • Maintain consecutive activity for 30 days.
  • Use appropriate risk management (sudden lot size changes may result in breaches or profit removal).

This phase follows the same principles as the 1-Step Challenge but with two phases:

  • Phase 1: Standard conditions as outlined above.
  • Phase 2: Relaxed conditions to verify strategy and consistency.

We do not impose a maximum number of trading days, allowing you to take as much time as needed to complete the process. However, we require at least 5 trading days in each phase of the Challenge. These days do not need to be consecutive and can be spaced out based on your trading style and strategy.

Once you achieve the Profit Target of our Challenge, and provided that you have followed all our Trading Rules, you can stop trading and relax for a bit. Our team will have to screen your trading and if everything is OK, you will be provided with a Trader’s agreement to sign. After finalizing this formality, you will be granted a Funded Trader Account with the same initial balance as your Challenge account.

Funded and Withdrawal Rules

The purpose of the Challenge is for Funds4Traders, LLC to observe and evaluate your trading style in a simulated environment. Since your trading data may be used for real market trading on our own account, it is essential for you to demonstrate that you manage risk effectively and trade responsibly.

The rules in Step 1 and Step 2 are analogical:

  • Min Trading Days: 5
You must execute trades on at least 5 different days. These can be consecutive or spread out, depending on your trading style.
  • Max Trading Days: none
  • Profit Target: 10% of the initial account balance Once you achieve the profit target, you will see this indicated on your Dashboard. At this point, you need to close all your open positions. Once you do that, the difference between your current balance and your initial balance should be equal to or higher than 10%.
  • Max Daily Loss: 5% of the initial account balance This rule limits your daily losses to 5% of the initial balance, ensuring disciplined risk management. A potential violation of this rule results in the closure of your Challenge account.
  • Max Loss: 10% of the initial account balance This acts as a stop-loss for your account. If your account equity (balance + open P/L), including swaps and commissions, drops below 90% of the initial balance, you’ll have violated this rule. It is designed to protect the account funds while encouraging responsible risk management. A potential violation of this rule results in the closure of your Challenge account.

All FundedEdge accounts, including Funded Accounts, operate with virtual funds in a demo environment that simulates real market conditions. Although traders can earn real profits, these accounts are not funded with real money.

Unlike standard demo accounts, which offer an idealized trading experience with instant trade execution, our simulated environment is designed to replicate the realities of the market. We use real Prime Liquidity Providers’ price feeds and depth of market data to simulate market liquidity. This means that trades are executed with real-world factors like speed, slippage, and spreads in mind.

If you violate any of the trading rules in your Challenge or in your Funded Account, your account will be deactivated, and you’ll need to start over with a new Challenge Account. If you engage in any Forbidden Trading Practices, all your accounts may be deactivated, and your agreements with FundedEdge would be terminated.

The legal relationship between FundedEdge legally known as Funds4Traders, LLC and the Trader is established through the FundedEdge Trader Account Agreement. This legally binding document is signed once you successfully pass the Challenge and complete the required KYC (Know Your Customer) or KYB (Know Your Business) procedures.

To withdraw profit from a standard funded account, ensure the following:

  • Minimum Trading Days: You’ve met the required minimum number of trading days.
  • Time Passed Since Funding: For the first withdrawal, 30 days must pass (varies by Perk Plan). Subsequent withdrawals require 14 days.
  • Profit Threshold: You must have a minimum profit of $100 above the initial balance.
  • Closed Trades: Ensure all trades are closed before withdrawal.
  • KYC Approval: Complete the Know Your Customer (KYC) process.
  • Trader Agreement: Sign the Trader Agreement.

When you request a withdrawal, our team conducts a thorough review of your trading activity to ensure adherence to our risk management policies.

– High-Risk Strategies Not Permitted:

  • Grid Trading
  • High-Frequency Trading
  • Latency Arbitrage

– Funded Account Rules Check:

Orders and Billing

  • With FundedEdge LLC, you can have as many active Challenge accounts as you want. When it comes to Funded Trader Accounts, we do not restrict the number of active accounts, either. We do have a limit on the aggregate capital across all your accounts. The former must not exceed $300,000.

We currently support the following payment methods:

3-Step Trading Rules

  • Soft breach means that we will close all trades that have violated the rule. However, you can continue trading in your Assessment or Funded Account.
  • Hard breach means that you violated either the Daily Loss Limit or Max Trailing Drawdown rule. Both rules constitute a hard breach. In the event you have a hard breach, you will fail the Assessment or have your Funded Account taken away.

The three-step program does not have a daily loss.

Maximum drawdown is the maximum your account can drawdown before you would hard breach your account. Whenyou open the account, your Maximum Drawdown is set at 5% of your starting balance. This 5% is static and does not trail.

In line with sound risk management practices, we require a stop loss on every trade. If you fail to place a stop loss at thetime of placing the trade/order, we will close the trade. This is only a soft breach rule, so you can continue trading in your account.

We require all trades to be closed by 3:45pm EST on Friday. Any trades left open after this time will automatically be closed. Note, this is only a soft breach and you will be able to continue trading once the markets reopen.

● Forex – 1 lot = $100k notional
● Index – 1 lot = 10 Contracts
● Cryptos – 1 lot = 1 coin
● Stocks – 1 lot = 100 shares
● Silver – 1 lot = 5000 ounces
● Gold – 1 lot = 100 ounces
● Oil – 1 lot = 1000 barrels

Below are the maximum open lots across all pairs that a trader can have at any given time.

  • $25K – 7.5 lots with risk
  • $50K – 15 lots with risk
  • $100K – 30 lots with risk
  • $250K – 75 lots with risk
  • $500K – 150 lots with risk
  • $1 million – 300 lots with risk

For example, if you are in the $100k plan, you will be able to have 30 open lots with risk available.
If you buy 20 lots of EURUSD at 1.20 and your stop loss is at 1.18, you will have 20 lots on with risk, so you would have 10 still available. If the EURUSD moves up to 1.25, and you update your stop loss to be at 1.20, which would be your open price, you no longer have risk on that trade. So, you would again have 30 lots available, even though you currently have 20 lots open.

If you put on too many trades with risk, then our system will liquidate all trades that currently have risk.

Please note, margin and leverage requirements still apply. So, even though these are the maximum lots that can be traded, it is possible based on the leverage of the account that you may not be able to trade up the maximum.

Yes. If you do not place a trade at least once every 30 days on your account, we will consider you inactive and your account will be breached.
